Gozo Philatelic Society
On 8th August, 2016, MaltaPost issued a speacial postmark to commemorate the 40th anniversary since the laying of the first stone of the Xaghra band club. The Gozo Philatelic Society issued the following commemorative postcard in connection with this commemoration.
On 9th May, 2016, MaltaPost issued a new stamp featuring Ta' Kola Windmill in Xagħra, Gozo. The Gozo Philatelic Society issued the following commemorative card for this occasion.
Gozo commemorated San Ġorġ Preca by issuing a special postmark. The Gozo Philatelic Society issued the shown commemorative card with a special postmark in a limited edition of 100 cards.
For the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the Maltese Emigrants' Incident, MaltaPost issued a commemorative special handstamp on 9th January, 2016 at the Victoria Post Office, Gozo. As usually, the Gozo Philatelic Society issued the following commemorative postcard, but this time being a Joint Issue with the Canberra Philatelic Society, Australia. The cards were issued in limited edition of 100 cards.
Both cards are now available on sale from the Gozo Philatelic Society for €10.
For the occasion of the opening of the Christmas related events in Gozo, MaltaPost issued a commemorative special handstamp on 5th December, 2015 at the Għarb Post Office, Gozo. As usually, the Gozo Philatelic Society issued the following commemorative postcard.
The 16th Annual Exhibition was another successful event. A special postmark was issued for the occasion on the 6th November, 2015. A video was also shown during the official opening which depicted most of the stamps issued with Gozo's connection.

This year's 16th edition of the Gozo Philatelic Exhibition, organised annually by the Gozo Philatelic Society, will be open from the 6th to the 27th of November, with the theme this year being "Post and Postmen".
The exhibition is taking place at the Gozo Ministry Halls in St. Francis Square, Victoria. Aiming to encourage philately, the participation of the general public is free of charge. The exhibition will be open during office hours.
Various philatelic categories are featured during the exhibition which are Postal History, Social Philately, Traditional and Junior Sections. The display includes antique and rare philatelic material and professional exhibits.
MaltaPost is taking part in the exhibition and a special postmark will be issued for the occasion on the 6th of November.
Various philately related activities will be held during the three (3) weeks duration of the exhibition. The activities and dates are as follows:
