On 11July 2022, MaltaPost issued a set of 2 stamps as its Euromed series. Both stamps have a Gozo connection. The Euro 5.50 stamp shows the Gozo Citadel and the Euro 0.20 shows the Phoenician remains found in Xlendi. It was decided by the GPS that since the Citadel was already commemorated on several Postcards issued (and also for other reasons) only the Xlendi stamp on card was issued. This card was postmarked at the Victoria post office with the First Day of issue handstamp in a limited edition of 100 cards.
